Better than the football, any day!

Dad burn it, I want to be in your garden today! That is lovely.

I quite agree about football. But it does mean that I can get out in the garden in peace!

Luckily Liverpool weren't playing for once so emotions in the house weren't running too high! I too gardened through the first half.
What a splendid show of chive flowers - do you sprinkle them on sald or scrambled egg? And those verbascums are going to be awesome!

The light was particularly lovely last night ... I should have been weeding, but, no, I just enjoyed the moment ... and then went in and watched the second half of the football! Emotions weren't engaged in this house, either (Newcastle)

PS the chives ... at this time of year, I put them on everything, especially the flowers, which I cut free from their base to sprinkle the petals, so that you don't have a big claggy bit to eat

Stunning! Assuming you're back in the garden tonight? ;)
