Can I ask you a favour?
Dozens and dozens of you have been reading my blog lately, but hardly anyone has left any comments, and I'm beginning to wonder if I've got some sort of blogger's B.O. which no-one will tell me about. I've met with nothing but kindness in cyberspace, bloggers are such a great lot, so - could you let me know if I'm being neurotic, or whether I've got a glitch which is stopping you from leaving comments? I'd be SOOOOOO grateful! Thanks ...

I found your blog yesterday through dietgirl's. I've had lots of fun reading through all the archives, but no comments yet--have to say that I am really inspired by all the ideas, especially the cheese-substitutes! When I turned veggie a few years ago, I ended up putting cheese into everything to add flavour. Later I managed to break the habit, but it's slipping back in. I live in the Netherlands and it's really tough to limit the dairy. I had a huge bowl of plain yoghurt for breakfast, a glass of warm milk, and have packed a cheese sandwhich for lunch! will have to start watching myself again- and your ideas will certainly help! thank you and please keep them coming!

Ilva - I'm SORRY ... I nearly mentioned you by name in my post, but then thought you might not thank me for it ... you are the last person I want to offend, because your blog is always so inspirational, and a highlight of the morning
Linda ... I'm so glad it's not just me that backslides on the cheese ... I think dairy produce is something all of us in northern Europe struggle with - it's just too delicious, and in our blood. I have recently started thinking that we need to take some inspiration from the far east, the cultures where cheese is unknown, so I'm starting to research that, and will keep you posted!
Don't be paranoid or if you are you will be in good company. We get lots of hits on our blog but few comments. And I to have often wondered why. Makes you feel a bit uneasy like maybe you have toilet paper stuck to your shoe or something. We all need and enjoy input so those of you that visit leave a comment good bad or indifferent.
Now about the cheese gads it's hard so everytime you give us hints as to how to cut back is very much appreciated. Easier to give up bread for Lent than cheese for health reasons. ;)
Joanna-are you crazy?! I'm not offended at all, there are just different ways to deal with comments! Some people never answers the comments they get, some answer by mail and some on their blog. And like Doodles I always wonder about all these people passing by my blog who never leaves a sign. Apart from that I have noticed that the commenting on my blog is both cyclic and depending on how much I comment on other blogs.
Joanna (and Ilva): I am looking forward to heart of the matter! I am also hoping to learn some tidbits on that site to fuel my new site, brown bag blues. Feeding kids smart lunches. It will be out in a few days! I love the movement toward eating wise and deliberately (and inspiring our children to do likewise!).
Janelle, I LOVE your idea of defualt dinners, and am really looking forward to brown bag blues. I think that getting access to the recipes for other people's default dinners will be about as life-enhancing as it gets ... other people's comfort food, their little tricks for when we're in a hurry - bring it on! Great stuff ... so much better than a cookbook!

I very much like your blog. Heart disease runs in my family and I am slowly coming around to the idea that I need to be proactive about it.

Towely thanks ... I started this blog because so many families have genetic predisposition to heart disease and stroke, and people kept asking me about how we were eating ... I'm learning all the time
