Hmmm. Maybe I'll have to research it a bit.Kalyn Dennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02499065771517548587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12910213.post-30264182675255666592007-04-16T09:36:00.000+01:002007-04-16T09:36:00.000+01:00I can't wait to hear how it grows.I tried, unsucce...I can't wait to hear how it grows.
I tried, unsuccessfully, to grow it in a small stream by my house in Andorra. Could have been too cold at night for it - or it could have been my ineptness as a gardener....Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01106770684223181487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12910213.post-73064578147842048952007-04-13T21:45:00.000+01:002007-04-13T21:45:00.000+01:00This is a great site, Joanna. I'm keeping the compost fairly wet and a cover on at night.

It turns out the my mother used to grow watercress when I was a child. She suddenly started to flap about the nasties that breed in water and gave up. She is keen to have another go so I've germinated cress for her and John Coe (our vegetable mentor).

The cress that we cultivate tastes wonderful. It's well worth growing.Cottage Smallholderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17601823009644161536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12910213.post-17392252048560630382007-04-13T17:35:00.000+01:002007-04-13T17:35:00.000+01:00This sounds great. We moved house when I was very young, but the taste for peppery watrecress stuck.

At least something is happening with the watrecress beds there now - though its a pity they aren't growing the watercress againPaulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15089683116903121790noreply@blogger.com
