Add oyster sauce and a bit of butter at the end, stir nooddles in and you have a lovely asian inspired meal.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12910213.post-63657471768111920432007-06-09T16:17:00.000+01:002007-06-09T16:17:00.000+01:00The Dutch use it like turnips in soup or sliced in...The Dutch use it like turnips in soup or sliced in a cream/cheese sauce. They also eat it raw, sliced very thinly. I find the taste a little odd, so I try and use it cooked and mashed with potato.

Do be honest, my heart used to sink when we got kohlrabi in the veg box!Ashleighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06279867349027342472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12910213.post-58237632960139391542007-06-05T07:33:00.000+01:002007-06-05T07:33:00.000+01:00I wish I could help! My favourite way to have it, thinly sliced, stir fried with strips of chicken & teriyaki sauce.
We also had it with bacon and mashed potato but not sure you still do bacon. We sliced it in half-inch slices, prepped it with olive oil, salt and pepper and put it on the grill. Served with a splash of balsamic vinegar, it was good.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12910213.post-3025911574926819322007-06-03T14:28:00.000+01:002007-06-03T14:28:00.000+01:00The RHS site has some good information about Kohlr...The RHS site has some good information about Kohlrabi here http://www.rhs.org.uk/whatson/gardens/harlowcarr/harlowcarrkitchennote8.aspCottage Smallholderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17601823009644161536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12910213.post-75768428609076911272007-06-03T13:47:00.000+01:002007-06-03T13:47:00.000+01:00Thanks Holler for the links ..
